Hello everyone!
My name is Marco, and I am from Naples in Italy.
I'm a PhD student at INAF-Astronomical Observatory of Abruzzo (INAF-OAAb) and Gran Sasso Science institute (GSSI). Currently, I'm at ESO in Garching for an 18-month studentship.
I did both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Physics with a specialization in Astrophysics at the University of Naples "Federico II" (Italy). Before starting my PhD, I had a 3-month research experience at the NAF-OAAb and 3-months at ESO in Santiago del Chile.
My research interests focus on galaxy formation and evolution, with a particular emphasis on the faint and elusive dwarf galaxies. I study them through the analysis of old stellar clusters they host.
